NPR* has just officially released our Son Lux project making-of video on their All Songs Considered page. As I mentioned before we did the entire project in 28 hours (actually a little under) and the video shows the whole process.
It was shot and edited by Michael Chiarelli, who’s one of my favorite editors, and we are so happy with it. It was such a fun, elaborate, and beautiful process. Hope you enjoy this little glimpse behind the scenes.
It’s worth watching full-screen, and—not to be presumptuous—but if you’ve got some headphones nearby, why not put those on as well :)

*I’ve gotta say that being featured on NPR has actually been a life-long dream. Some people might want their work in Rolling Stone or something like that, but for me, it’s always been NPR.
We are rising suns. We are rising sons. Son sound song Lux.
Viva The Made Shop and long live the Johnsons!
This is awesome! Everything turned out great for them, AND the tracks are pretty kick ass!
